Description
HOTSTART in-block engine heater, part JD3/4-101IN. Installs directly into a core (freeze) plug, threaded plug or plate opening in the engine block to heat the coolant for faster cold starts, reduced engine wear and lower start-up emissions. Supplied complete with a 2-wire w/ground 6 ft (1.8 m) HPN cord and plug.

Engine applications: Caterpillar 3208 (recommended aftermarket installation); John Deere with 3/4″ plug in the back of the block.
Installation / fitment: Caterpillar 3208: Replaces any of the 3/4″ (0.75″) plugs on the water transfer casting (right front of engine); 3/4″ use JD3/4. John Deere: 3/4″ (0.75″) NPT opening in the rear face of engine block. Check exhaust routing. Also referenced at 1500 W.
