Warranty Info
Every product supplied by Ozwide Power is backed by a manufacturer’s warranty. This page explains how warranty support works, how to make a claim, and where to find the warranty documents for your equipment. If you are ever unsure, our team is only a phone call away on 08 6385 1104.
How Your Warranty Works
Products sold by Ozwide Power are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty periods and conditions vary from brand to brand and from product to product, so the cover that applies to your item is the cover set out by its manufacturer.
In almost all cases the manufacturer — or their authorised service agent — carries out servicing and assesses warranty claims, because they hold the parts, technical data and factory training for their equipment. Ozwide Power is here to help you through the process and point you to the right people whenever you need a hand.
The warranty period that applies to your product is shown on the individual product page and in the owner’s manual or warranty booklet supplied with your purchase.
Making a Warranty Claim
If something isn’t right with your equipment, follow these steps:
- Have your proof of purchase ready — your Ozwide Power tax invoice or order number.
- Check your owner’s manual or warranty booklet for the manufacturer’s service contact and warranty terms, and download the relevant document below.
- Contact the manufacturer’s service line or authorised service agent — or contact Ozwide Power and we’ll point you in the right direction.
- Describe the fault as clearly as you can. Photos or a short video of the issue often speed things up.
- If you can’t locate your invoice or the manufacturer’s details, call us on 08 6385 1104 and we’ll help.
Register Your Product
Some manufacturers ask you to register your product to activate or extend its warranty. We recommend registering as soon as possible after purchase using the brand’s registration form or website, and keeping a copy of your confirmation with your invoice. You will find each brand’s registration form in the documents section below.
Keep Your Proof of Purchase
Your tax invoice is your proof of purchase and is required for any warranty claim, so keep it somewhere safe. Misplaced it? No problem — call us on 08 6385 1104 with your name and order details and we can email you a copy.
What Is Generally Covered
While every brand sets its own terms, a manufacturer’s warranty typically covers faults caused by defects in materials or workmanship, when the product is used normally and serviced as set out in the owner’s manual. Warranty generally does not cover:
- Routine wear-and-tear and consumable items such as filters, spark plugs, oil, and belts
- Damage caused by misuse, accident, incorrect fuel or oil, or running out of coolant
- Faults resulting from missed or incorrect servicing and maintenance
- Unauthorised repairs, modifications or non-genuine parts
- Use outside the product’s intended application (for example, commercial use of a product warranted for domestic use)
Always refer to your product’s specific warranty documentation for the exact terms that apply.
