We utilise a national freight network across road, air, and rail to ensure safe and timely delivery.

  • Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days
  • Delivery timeframes vary depending on location

Returns, Refunds & Warranty

We comply with all obligations under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Consumer Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure
  • Compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
  • Repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure

Returns & Change of Mind

  • Change of mind returns are accepted at Ozwide Power’s discretion
  • Requests must be made within 14 days of delivery
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition
  • Freight costs are non-refundable
  • A restocking fee may apply

Ozwide Power reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

Warranty

  • All new products include a manufacturer’s warranty (minimum 12 months unless otherwise stated)
  • Warranty claims must be submitted to Ozwide Power for assessment
  • Repairs or replacements are provided in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Warranty does not cover misuse, incorrect installation, or lack of maintenance

Manufacturer warranties operate in addition to your rights under the ACL.

Generator Battery Advisory

Electric start and automatic standby generators draw a small standby current from the battery over time.

To avoid battery failure:

  • Use a suitable trickle or maintenance charger
  • Install a battery isolator or disconnect the battery for long-term storage

Failure to follow these recommendations may void warranty claims relating to battery performance.

Price Beat Guarantee – Exclusions

Our Price Beat Guarantee applies to comparable, in-stock items from authorised Australian suppliers.

Exclusions may include:

  • Selected product categories or specialised equipment
  • Out-of-stock or clearance items
  • Exclusive or limited-distribution products
  • Non like-for-like comparisons

Ozwide Power reserves the right to verify competitor pricing and determine eligibility.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • Ozwide Power is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business interruption, or loss of opportunity
  • Our liability is limited to repair or replacement of the goods, or the cost of doing so

This limitation does not apply where it cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Use of Products & Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Ensuring products are installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Using qualified personnel where required (e.g. electrical installation)
  • Confirming suitability of products for the intended application

Ozwide Power is not liable for loss or damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or failure to follow instructions.

Force Majeure

Ozwide Power is not liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Supply chain disruptions
  • Transport delays
  • Industrial action

Pricing & Errors

  • All prices are in AUD and subject to change without notice
  • Ozwide Power reserves the right to correct any pricing or typographical errors
  • Orders affected by errors may be cancelled or amended at our discretion

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
