ATS- Automatic Transfer Switch
The Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) automatically switches between the main power grid and a backup generator during power failures. When a failure is detected , the ATS signals the genertor to start ,ensuring an uninterrupted power supply. Once the grid power is restored and stable , the ATS switches back to the grid and shuts down the generator.
