Description
HOTSTART in-block engine heater, part INTA-121. Installs directly into a core (freeze) plug, threaded plug or plate opening in the engine block to heat the coolant for faster cold starts, reduced engine wear and lower start-up emissions. Supplied complete with a 2-wire w/ground 6 ft (1.8 m) HPN cord and plug.

Engine applications: Detroit Diesel Series 40 all versions; Navistar/International INLINE 6 CYLINDER all series (312, 360, 414, 436, 466 & 530).
Installation / fitment: Detroit Diesel: Mounts in the core plug opening on right side of engine. Navistar: Replaces third or fourth core plug on left side of engine. Element should point toward 1 o’clock position. Also referenced at 1000 W.
